The arrested are Manjunath (25) of Pattegarpalya, Manjunath alias Kirik Manja (21), Anil (25) both of Mariyappanapalya, Lankesh (35) of Nandini Layout and Amar (33) of Palace Guttahalli. They were picked up from Jnanabharati area.
They were waiting for rival gang members, associates of rowdy Manja alias Hebbet Manja, possibly to wage a gang war.
Lethal weapons, a car and a cellphone have been recovered from them.
