Five persons were arrested in connection with the murder of Jai Karnataka activist Devaraj on Saturday, the police said. Chetan Kumar, Manjunath, Raghu, Santosh Kumar and their associate had murdered Devaraj (35) when he objected to their eveteasing in a function at Basavangudi on November 17. The victim was the president of Jai Karnataka, Sunkenahalli unit. The accused have been remanded in judicial custody.
