A day-long hackathon will be held next month at the Courtyard, Hebbal. ‘NER Tech Hackathon 2.0’ is being organised by The North Eastern Regional Community Resource Management Society (NERCORMS) in association with Amantya Technologies.

The event aims to bring together startups and innovators using 5G, AI, and emerging technologies to address challenges in healthcare, animal husbandry, and agriculture. The innovations must have an emphasis on reaching remote communities, women, health, and self-help groups. It is being organised under ‘Deepening of scientific research on 5G use cases for solving challenges in society’, an ongoing project of NERCORMS. 

Startups, entrepreneurs, and college students can participate in teams of one to three members. The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh, and three consolation prizes worth Rs 2 lakh each will also be awarded.
