Bengaluru: Over 73,959 Ganesha idols were immersed across Bengaluru on Thursday, as per data shared by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
This is in addition to 2.19 lakh idols immersed on the first day of the festival.
The civic body had deployed mobile tankers and set up permanent and temporary tanks in lake premises for immersions.
