Board members, former principals, teachers and students, parents and well-wishers of the School turned out in large numbers to hear the junior, middle and senior school choirs convey through melodious music the theme of God’s unfailing love for the human race.

In her Christmas message, Nirmala Vasanthakumar, President, CSI Women’s Fellowship, discussed the comforting words, Fear not.

Reminding those present of that long-ago angelic assurance to the shepherds, she said it was just as relevant in our day, especially in times of turbulence.

The highlight of the Christmas programme was a musical — God’s Gift, based on the Biblical verse “Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given,” earlier read to the congregation by Principal Lydia Joshua. The play brought out through song and spectacle, dance and drama, the age-old--yet ever-new--story of the birth of the Babe of Bethlehem.
