VET First Grade College celebrated ‘Environment Day’ in a unique way recently. They went out of their campus and spread awareness about the environment to the residents of J P Nagar.
They were accompanied by Chandrashekhar Raju, corporator, J P Nagar ward; A R Sriramulu, secretary, VET institutions; R Parvathi, principal, First Grade College and director, Academic PU and Degree College.
The planting of saplings initiative was taken up by the degree students who walked all the way to a park and planted around 90 saplings for the green initiative. They raised ‘Save Tree Save Environment’ slogans all the way to mark the event.
