I Am Omar tells the story of how gay men often get blackmailed because of the fear of society and law, and are scared to do anything about it.

The five films — Abhimanyu, Omar, Afia, Rudra and Megha, aim to use the medium of mainstream commercial film to spread social awareness. They have the common theme of fear, with the characters moving in and out, thus linking them in terms of content and structure.  I Am Megha stars Juhi Chawla, Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Suri. It is the story of two women — Megha and Rubina, who are separated by circumstances.

Megha is a Kashmiri Pandit, who has to abandon her home and become a part of the neglected statistics of an internal refugee, while Rubina is a Muslim woman, who stays in the valley.
