Here is some good news for ‘Appu’ fans. The music album of the much-hyped Kannada movie, Anna Bond, starring Puneeth Rajkumar, hit the stands recently. In a well-organised event at a City hotel, the audio CDs were launched by Shivarajkumar and Parvathamma Rajkumar.
The music of Anna Bond has been in the news for many reasons — be it the title track, the remixed version of Kanadanthe Mayavadanu..., the melody Enendhu Hesaridali, the songs are creating waves in the industry.
V Harikrishna, the music composer, received praises for his hard work. “This is my third film under the Rajkumar banner. I have tuned five songs for the film.
I have also remixed Kanadanthe Mayavadanu, a popular song from the Dr Rajkumar starrer Chalisuva Modagalu, and it is like a new song now,” he said.
After releasing the music CDs, Shivarajkumar said that he is curious to watch Anna Bond. “Appu is really a power star. He reveals power on the silver screen. When I saw his film Arasu, I saw my father in him. Anna Bond is produced by my mother under Poornima Enterprises, hence it will be a hit,” he said.
Director Soori, who has teamed with the Rajkumar banner for the second time, said that everyone has worked hard for the film.
“I appreciate Puneeth Rajkumar for taking risks while shooting this action-oriented film,” he said. Puneeth, who didn’t speak much, thanked the whole team of Anna Bond.
Priyamani, the leading actress of the film, said she is happy to star opposite Puneeth for the second time.
“It was great fun to work with Puneeth. I enjoyed dancing with him thoroughly. All the songs have come out well and Enendhu Hesaridali, penned by Jayanth Kaykini, is my favourite song,” she said.
Raghavendra Rajkumar lauded the cast and crew of the film and said that Soori has become a member of their family since Jackie. Anand Audio has acquired the audio rights of the movie.
Along with the cast and crew, well-known names in the industry like Bhagavan, Rajendra Singh Babu, K Manju, Sa Ra Govindu, Rockline Venkatesh, K V Chandrashekar (KFCC president) and others attended the event. The action-oriented Anna Bond will hit the screens by end of this month.
