Bengaluru: Two separate road incidents on the Bengaluru-Tumakuru highway early Monday caused significant traffic disruptions.
The first incident occurred around 3 am near Budihal Gate, where a speeding lorry carrying iron pipes lost control and overturned, blocking the road.
According to the Nelamangala traffic police, clearance efforts lasted until 8 am, with traffic moving at a crawl for several hours. The lorry driver sustained minor injuries, but no other road users were harmed, officials said.
The second incident took place around 7.30 am near Dobbaspet, where a Canter truck rear-ended a car. The ensuing heated argument between the drivers further slowed traffic in the area.
No police cases were registered in connection with either incident.
