The Bangalore Development Authority will start “across the table” sale of flats at the BDA head office from Friday.
The BDA will offer around 3,000 flats of 1,2 and 3 BHK.
The sale will start at noon at a special counter set up near the gate.
Trained sales experts
However, taking the help of MBAs and trained sales experts will take some time. The sales at present will be handled by BDA engineers, said BDA commissioner Rakesh Singh.
The idea of introducing “across the table” sales, he said was to boost the sale of flats which are focussed on the middle and upper middle class who want flats but have to wait for long to get one due to the tedious allocation process and lottery schemes.
