Kannada  actor  Vishwanath (Taranga Vishwa) is among four people booked by the police  in  connection with the alleged sexual harassment of a female techie in South Bengaluru.

The 40-year-old  woman had filed a complaint with the police commissioner's office on December 20, 2017. The  FIR has been registered against Viswanath, Papanna, Puttaswamy and his son-in-law Nagesh. Police have invoked IPC section 354  against them.

She accused the jurisdictional  Chennammanakere Achukattu police of not taking her complaint seriously.
