Flight operations will be partially suspended between February 14 and 24 at the Kempegowda International Airport in view of the 'Aero-India 2019' international aerospace exposition. The airshow is scheduled to be held at the Yelahanka Air Force base from February 20 to 24.

Although the flight displays at the airshow will commence only on February 20, rehearsals will begin about a week before. All flights are expected to be suspended at KIA between 1.20 pm and 4.30 pm from February 14 to 19.

On February 20, the flight suspensions are likely from 8.50 am to 12 noon. The aerial displays as part of the airshow inauguration has been scheduled to be held during this period.

Flights at the city airport are suspended during every airshow due to the KIA's close proximity to the Yelahanka Air Base. Since the Aero-India aerial displays are conducted during the morning and evening hours, flight suspensions at KIA are likely to be from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm on all show days.
