From May 20, a daily flight between Bangalore-Kuala Lumpur would commence, with a return flight scheduled to on the same day, announced Head of Commercial PR Sherliza Zaharudin here in Bangalore.

The one-way fare on this no-frills, low cost airline sans administration fee, with only online fees being charged, would be around Rs 4,000-Rs 6,000. The Kuala Lumpur-Chennai daily flight services would begin from May 17 and the daily flights from Penang to Chennai would start from April 28.

Air Asia will also plans to start flights from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai four times a week starting May 6. Currently, it runs flights from four cities in India.
