Bengaluru: Air India Express has launched its daily direct flight between Bengaluru and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), effective from December 1.
The inaugural flight took off from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru at 10:50 am.
Air India Express covers 51 destinations, including the recent addition of Bangkok, along with Dimapur and Patna.
From Bengaluru, the airline operates 374 weekly flights, connecting directly to 25 domestic destinations — Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Gwalior, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Ranchi, Sri Vijaya Puram, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, and two international destinations — Abu Dhabi and Dammam.
