AirAsia India will launch daily flights from Bangalore to Kochi and back from July 20. Bookings for the flights have already commenced.
The Indo-Malaysian joint venture airline had commenced its India operations with Bangalore-Goa-Bangalore flights on June 12.
As part of the new route launch, the low-cost airline is offering limited promotional seats with an all-inclusive fare of Rs 500. Booking could be done between June 16 and June 22 for the travel period from July 20 to October 25.

The flight will take off from Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore at 8.55 am and reach Kochi Airport at 9.55 am.
The return flight will leave Kochi Airport at 10.20 am, reaching Bangalore at 11.20 am.
Mittu Chandilya, Chief Executive Officer, AirAsia India, said, “We are very encouraged by the outstanding reception to our product and service. We have done a complete analysis on our third destination and we are confident we will be able to reach out to more first-time fliers.”
The parent airline, AirAsia, currently services 87 destinations. In its 12 years of operations, it has carried over 200 million passengers with a current fleet of more than 150 aircraft.
