Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) will conduct a cleanliness drive in the city between April 21 and 30.
The authorities have already identified waste dumping sites and blackspots, all of which will be cleaned during the drive.
"The goal is to clean roads, footpaths, medians of roads and public places across the city within 10 days. Various NGOs, residents' welfare associations, apartment owners' associations, and volunteer groups will participate in the drive," the BSWML said.
Authorities also plan to conduct raids on industries and shops that use single-use plastic products. They have also decided to clear all construction and demolition debris dumped in vacant places across the city.
