Army institute grabs 1st prize, Surana 2ndDH Metrolife Fashion Show-2018

The grand finale of the Deccan Herald Metrolife Fashion Show-2018 witnessed scintillating performances by the 10 finalist colleges at Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Kumaraswamy Layout, on Saturday.

The Army Institute of Fashion and Design grabbed the top prize at the event, themed ‘Bengaluru 1948-2018, The Journey’, while Surana College finished second and Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology came in third.

Jain College (VV Puram) was placed fourth, CMR Law College fifth, Mount Carmel College sixth, and St Joseph’s College of Commerce seventh.

KLE Society’s S Nijalingappa College, the Oxford College of Science and Jain College (Jayanagar) respectively finished eighth, ninth and tenth.

Shabnam from the Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology was judged the best female model out of all the participants, while Pradyumn Tiwari from the Army Institute of Fashion and Design was judged the best male model.

Designer Paresh Lamba, actor Harshika Poonacha, model Nicole Faria, actor Radhika Chetan and playback singer Inchara Rao were the judges of the event.

This was the eighth edition of the Deccan Herald Metrolife Fashion Show.
