Police arrested three autorickshaw drivers for assaulting six persons at various places in Subramanyanagar and Rajajinagar.
The arrested are Suresh (23), Chandra Kumar (24), both residents of Srirampura, and Rajesh (27), a resident of Kurubarahalli.
On Thursday afternoon, Suresh and Rajesh got into Kumar’s autorickshaw and went around Subramanyanagar and Rajajinagar. All three were under the influence of liquor and went on an assault spree. They assaulted pedestrians and motorcyclists randomly at various places with a knife and sped off. Complaints were lodged at Subramanyanagar and Rajajinagar police stations against them.
