Bengaluru: BBMP Chief Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao on Tuesday reviewed preparations for the state-level Independence Day celebrations at the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is expected to hoist the national flag and address the gathering. A cultural performance is also planned.
The commissioner reviewed seating, entry protocols, parking, traffic diversions, toilet facilities, first aid, and CCTV installation.
The meeting was attended by Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner Jagadeesha G, police officers, and BBMP zonal commissioners.
