Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Chief Engineer (West) B T Ramesh has clarified that he has been misquoted in the report on the issue of construction of a cultural hall in the Malleswaram park.
Responding to the report that appeared in Wednesday’s edition, Ramesh said he and the Joint Commissioner (West) had only “received the memorandum from the residents stating that they did not want the green space to be destroyed and (we) assured (them) that the same will be sent to higher authorities for further decision in this matter as per law.”
