Bengaluru: The BBMP has warned action against illegal advertisers even as it has directed its officers to file a police complaint. The city is filled with ads despite a ban on such outdoor advertising.

As per the rough estimates, there are about 100 LED advertisement boards, some as large as a two-storey building, without seeking prior permission from the civic body. Other than the LED boards, the advertisers are also violating rules by putting up hoardings.
