These markets will be organised in parks in eight zones on designated days from 8 am and saplings would be provided at a cheaper price.

“The aim of this Hasiru Santhe is to motivate people to select plants of their choice and contribute towards environment protection. The Palike is welcoming the new year by starting this innovative programme in eight zones,” said the public relation officer of the BBMP.  The BBMP has proposed to sell ornamental saplings, medicinal plants and other plants. The Hasiru Santhe will be organised at the following places:

Citizen Park, R T Nagar- Second Saturdays; Coles Park- Fourth Sunday; Sankey Lake Park, Opp Sadashivanagar entrance- Third Saturday; Gayathri Devi Park -Third Sunday; M N K Rao Park, Basavanagudi- First Saturday; Naveen Park, M C Layout- First Sunday; Brindavan Park, BSK II Stage-Third Saturday; Yelahanka S F S-407 Park, Yelahanka Upanagar- Second Sunday; Whitefield Inner Circle Park- Fourth Saturday; MEI Layout Park, Bagalagunte-Third Friday; Mavinathopu Park, Rangamandir- Forth Friday; HSR Layout, 6th Sector, 16th Cross, 3rd Main Park- Second Friday; RBI Layout, 8th Main, 7th Cross Park- First Friday.
