Bengaluru: Residents of Begur and the surrounding areas came together under the banner of 'Beautiful Begur Federation' to conduct a silent candlelight march, expressing solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam attack.

"It was a non-violent demonstration of our collective grief, unwavering stand against violence, and hope for lasting peace," said Prakash K, president of the federation.

"In this moment of sorrow, it is crucial for us to come together as a community and send a powerful message that we will not be silenced by terror. Our silent presence and the gentle glow of the candlelight symbolise our shared humanity, our resilience, and our commitment to a peaceful future for all," he added.
