This effort, announced by the city police commissioner, aims to foster public confidence and deter criminal activities. It has already commenced in areas such as Cubbon Park, Ashok Nagar, Chickpet, Upparpet, and Indiranagar.

The initiative includes morning and evening foot patrols by beat staff, Hoysala, Cheetah personnel, and police sub-inspectors (PSIs).

A special focus is placed on sensitive locations, including places of worship, malls, and markets, particularly during evenings and weekends, to address illegal activities and manage crowd movement, the commissioner stated.
