Bengaluru: Metro train services in the city will run as per schedule on December 11, according to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
The clarification came after many citizens wondered whether metro train operations would be shut on Wednesday after the state government declared a holiday following the death of former chief minister SM Krishna.
"Metro operations are an essential service. They cannot be stopped. Metro trains will run as per the normal timetable on Wednesday," the BMRCL stated.
