"Two teams have been formed to investigate the case,” Sajeeth VJ, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast), told DH.

The rave party was busted in the early hours of Sunday at the farmhouse near Kannamangala Road at Devanahalli. Among the drugs consumed were cocaine and hydroponic ganja.

Thirty-one people, including seven women, were booked by the Devanahalli police under sections related to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and sections 292 (punishment for public nuisance in cases not otherwise provided for) and 296 (obscene acts and songs) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The police have also booked the organisers and the owner of the farmhouse. “Based on their involvement and role in the rave party, necessary action will be initiated,” a senior police officer said.
