The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast stated that Bengaluru city recorded 6.2 mm of rain. Isolated thunderstorms are likely to continue on Tuesday.
The IMD forecast for the next two days suggests that Bengaluru will likely experience a partly cloudy sky with light rain, thundershowers, and gusty winds at speeds of 30 to 40 kmph.
N Puviarasan, Head of the Bengaluru Meteorological Centre, IMD, told DH that the maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 34°C and 21°C, respectively. He noted that the current rainfall is part of the pre-monsoon showers, which are characterised by sporadic thunderstorms.
