Bengaluru: Restaurant fined for not segregating garbage

Civic officials have fined a restaurant in Shantala Nagar for not scientifically segregating wet, dry, and polluted waste.

D Randeep, Special Commissioner (Solid Waste Management), BBMP, said marshals and health officials have slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on the Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant for failing to segregate waste as mandated by the civic body.
