This includes 42 men and 14 women. Bowring saw a majority of cases – 31 patients. There were 14 patients at Vydehi Superspeciality Hospital, five at Manipal Hospital, three at Sparsh Hospital Cunningham Road, and one each at Apollo, Fortis and Victoria hospitals.

At VSH, most patients have been discharged, except for about three or four who have been kept under observation, said a well-placed source. “All the injured suffered minor injuries and are out of danger. Most were discharged as of last night (Wednesday night),” said the source.

Of the 11 deceased, six were taken to Bowring Hospital, while the rest were initially taken to Victoria Hospital and then shifted elsewhere.

Of this, four were declared ‘brought dead’ at VSH, while one patient died at Manipal Hospital, Millers Road. Four of the deceased were from Bengaluru, whereas the others were from Kolar, Tumakuru, Uttara Kannada, Chikballapur, Yadgir, Mandya, and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
