Bengaluru: City police commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh rode pillion on a two-wheeler Wednesday evening to inspect preparations for New Year’s celebrations in and around MG Road.

Singh, along with other police officers, set off from Trinity Circle at 6 pm, passed through Cauvery Emporium junction, Brigade Road, Church Street, Anil Kumble Circle, MG Road and Brigade Road before concluding at Opera House Junction. 

The commissioner inspected areas where crowds are expected for celebrations on New Year's Eve. Roads were temporarily closed for traffic during this period.
