Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) collected Rs 6.395 lakh in fines during a special drive against traffic violations between 11 am and 4 pm on Tuesday.

The BTP collected Rs 1.88 lakh for 372 no-entry violations, Rs 1.56
lakh over 311 driving against one-way, Rs 1.02 lakh in 64 cases of using mobile phone while driving, and Rs 90,500 over 178 no-parking
violations.

They also booked offenders for triple riding, riding on the footpath and parking on the footpath. The BTP registered a total of 1130 violations. 

The BTP also booked 120 drunk drivers on Monday after checking a total of 6,685 vehicles.
