Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) seized 947 modified silencers and registered 3,674 cases for shrill horns during a weeklong, citywide special drive, conducted from October 9 to 15.
Modified silencers were among the major traffic violations reported in the city last year, according to a BTP report released earlier this year.
