Bengaluru: A 44-year-old truck driver died after he lost control of his truck and crashed into nine vehicles, injuring two others.

The accident occurred at 4 am on Saturday near Satellite Bus Station on Mysore Road. The driver of the truck, Jagan, was driving rashly. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into nine other vehicles before coming to a halt.

The truck crashed into four autos, two cabs, two motorcycles and one canter auto. As a result of the collision, the front of the truck was crushed, resulting in injuries to Jagan's legs, head and torso. He was taken to Victoria Hospital but succumbed to his injuries at 6.43 am. 

A pedestrian Manoj, aged 20, and auto-driver Chand Pasha, aged 25, were also injured and are undergoing treatment.

A case has been registered at Byatarayanpura traffic police station.
