The arrested is Chandrahasa, who worked at the Vishal Mega Mart in Kengeri, allegedly attacked and flashed Usharani.

Usharani told the police that she owned a fish shop opposite the shopping mart, and Chandrahasa argued with her on August 2 at around 9 pm regarding space.

When Usharani went to raise this issue with the manager of the shopping mart, Chandrahasa was triggered and began hurling expletives at her. “He also attacked me with a sharp weapon and flashed me in front of the public,” the victim told the police.

One of the passersby called 112 and alerted the police, who arrived quickly, diffused the situation and arrested Chandrahasa.

He has been booked under multiple BNS sections, including assault or use of criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty, sexual harassment and criminal intimidation.
