The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) on Monday replaced a broken electricity pole which was posing a danger to road users near a petrol bunk on Hennur Main Road in Kacharakanahalli.
Deccan Herald, in its edition dated December 24, 2012, had carried a story on the problem.
The residents of Kacharakanahalli had expressed serious concern over the precariously tilted electricity pole. Lakshminarayan, an official of the Bescom, said the pole may have been damaged after being hit by a vehicle.
