Two bike-borne persons robbed a gold chain, weighing 12 grams, from a woman in front of her residence in JP Nagar 1st Stage on Saturday night.
According to police, Uma was playing badminton along with her relative in front of her residence. Two miscreants came on a bike. One of them got down from the bike and snatched away the gold chain before fleeing. Uma and her relative raised an alarm and a few passersby made an vain attempt to catch hold of thieves.
The JP Nagar police have registered a case and have launched a manhunt to track down the culprits based on the details provided by the complainant, said the police.
