The biker also issued threats to the driver before fleeing the scene. Following a complaint, the Madanayakanahalli police have registered a case under BNS sections pertaining to criminal intimidation, mischief causing damage and public nuisance, and are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprit.

“Road rage is an unacceptable breach of public safety. We are committed to taking strict action against those who take the law into their own hands on city roads,” a senior police officer said.

Police have reiterated that road rage is a serious offence and urged motorists to report such incidents immediately via the emergency helpline.
