In a joint operation by Chennai and Kochi zone units, officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested two businessmen and seized 16.95 kg of gold worth Rs 5 crore, which was smuggled from Dubai.

According to sources, the accused, identified as John Williams and Chandrashekar, were arrested on September 15, when they landed from Dubai.
