Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) said that it had issued over 110 Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) in June under the PRAYAS scheme.
The scheme, launched on July 21, 2020, facilitates timely issuance of pension payment orders to employees during the same month they retire on superannuation.
Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy distributed the PPOs on Tuesday.
According to the BMTC, it processed 338 out of 372 pension applications in 2024–25.
