Bengaluru: With up to 15,000 people expected to attend the 50th Brahmana Mahasammelana on Saturday and Sunday at Palace Grounds, the following traffic arrangements have been made in and around the venue and Ballari Road:
How public vehicles can reach venue
Buses, tempo travellers, two-wheelers, and four-wheelers coming to the event can take these routes. Parking has been arranged at Gate 1, Krishna Vihar, Palace Grounds. Attendees must walk to the venue as directed by signboards.
Visitors from the city can come via Windsor Manor Junction, BDA flyover up-ramp, Ramana Maharshi Road, PG Halli Bus Stand, Kaveri Junction, Mehkri Circle Service Road, and Mehkri Circle.
Visitors coming from Hebbal side (Ballari Road) should move via Mehkri Circle underpass and reach Gate 1, Krishna Vihar, Palace Grounds.
Vehicles coming from Yeshwantpur should travel via Sir CV Raman Road, BHEL Circle, Sadashivanagar Police Station Junction, Mehkri Circle Service Road, Gate 1, Krishna Vihar, Palace Grounds.
Vehicles coming from the Cantonment Railway Station should proceed via Jayamahal Road, TV Tower Junction, Mehkri Circle, Mehkri Circle Service Road and reach Gate 1, Krishna Vihar, Palace Grounds.
Motorists can exit the venue via Amanullah Khan Gate (Jayamahal Road) and head to Mehkri Circle or Cantonment Railway Station.
Alternative routes for non-visitors
Palace Road: From Mysore Bank Circle to Vasanthnagar Underpass.
MV Jayaram Road: From Palace Road BDA Junction to Chakravarthy Layout, including Vasanthanagar Underpass to Old Udaya TV Junction.
Ballari Road: From LRDE Junction to Hebbal.
Cunningham Road: From Balekundri Circle to Le Méridien Underpass.
Miller's Road: From Old Udaya TV Junction to LRDE Junction
Yeshwanthpur Road: From Yeshwanthpur to IISc towards Mehkri Circle.
Parking is prohibited on the following roads:
Palace Road, MV Jayaram Road, Vasanthnagar Road, Jayamahal Road, CV Raman Road, Ballari Road, Ramana Maharshi Road, Nandidurga Road, and Taralabalu Road.
