Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has slapped fines worth Rs 1,15,000 against 102 people who were caught overspeeding in a special week-long drive last week.
The drive, which was conducted between May 26 and June 1, targeted drunk driving and speeding in Bengaluru. Out of 50,581 vehicles checked through the week, 683 drivers were found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
