After keeping students on tenterhooks for nearly seven months for semester results, Bangalore University has finally announced the semester results of under graduate students in BNM College. The results of more than 200 students were kept pending following exam irregularities which led to the suspension of college principal and arrest of 8 students in the college. The scam came to light during the semester exams in November, 2014.

According to BU Registrar (Evaluation) Prof K N Ninge Gowda, the results were sent to the college on May 29, 2015. “We sent the results after withholding the results of the eight students. Case against them is still pending.”

However, several students are yet to access the results. A final year B A student told Deccan Herald, “The results are not available online. We have been asked to go and collect in the college. Only by word of mouth did we come to know that it was announced.”

The worse hit were final year students of the college, whose results were also delayed in the process and faced the risk of it affecting their PG admissions.
