BWSSB Engineers’ Association will hold a protest on Friday against the manhandling of the Board’s assistant engineer and staff by some miscreants.
The association members will protest by wearing black bands and submit a memorandum to BWSSB Minister S Suresh Kumar.
BWSSB Chairman Gaurav Gupta has demanded protection to the staff and Board engineers, so that they can discharge their duties without any hassle during summer.
Background
The protest is being held to condemn the attack on Board’s assistant engineer A Nagaraj, valveman Muddaiah and two workers by a few miscreants in Kempegowda Nagar on Wednesday, over a dispute on replacing a pipeline.
