A bike taxi for women was launched in Bengaluru recently. Following the launch, netizens have been enquiring about other women-only ride services in the city. Metrolife lists some of them.
GoPink Premium cabs
With a fleet of 25 sedans, the cab service provides 24x7 trips to the airport, says Anuradha Udayashankar, founder. It also offers rides within the city for a minimum distance of 20 km, priced at Rs 30/km. They also accept outstation rides for a minimum distance of 300 km, at a fare of Rs 16/km. Toll permits and parking charges are additional.
