The driver stopped at a mall where they entered a restaurant. A few minutes later, Nagarjun's daughter wanted a toy. The driver offered to get it while the duo enjoyed a meal.

Nagarjun handed over his debit card and shared the PIN number. Taking advantage, the driver swiped Rs 40,200 from the account and returned with the toy. He handed over the debit card and the bill promptly. Soon after, the driver left on the pretext of gift wrapping the toy. He did not return.
