The police have registered a suo moto case against an auto-rickshaw driver after two women complained of harassment on Sunday. The women uploaded a video of the driver misbehaving with them and posted his picture on Facebook.

While tagging the city police, one of the victims posted on the social media site that they were walking on the footpath from Garuda Mall on Sunday evening when a driver, who had parked his auto nearby, stood staring at them. When she questioned him, he began misbehaving with them and passed lewd comments.

While providing the registration number of his vehicle, the women sought the police to arrest him and suspend his license.
