Cash, knives seized during prison raid

Bengaluru: Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials of the Bengaluru police conducted raids inside the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison on Tuesday.

Officials said the raid was held to check conspiracies, illegal activities, use and supply of drugs, and mobile usage from inside the prison.

Police sources said that cash, tobacco products and three knives were recovered. Action is being initiated, they said.
