Bengaluru: In an intensified crackdown, Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials have raided the homes of 75 rowdy-sheeters over the past 15 days, taking action against seven individuals for various offences.
The early-morning raids were conducted in the northeast, southeast, east, and Whitefield police limits, targeting individuals with a history of criminal activities.
Among the seven rowdies, three were found to have pending non-bailable warrants (NBWs), one was externed from the city, and two were suspected of planning to engage in unlawful activities. Another rowdy-sheeter, who had previously been arrested and relocated to Andhra Pradesh, was found residing unlawfully at his home in DJ Halli, east Bengaluru.
All seven rowdies have been handed over to the respective jurisdictional police for further action, according to a statement by the Bengaluru police.
