The Banaswadi police on Monday submitted a charge sheet in the New Year Eve Kammanahalli molestation case. Investigating officer ACP Ravi Kumar submitted a 164-page charge sheet to the 11th ACMM court on Monday. It includes statements of 32 witnesses. The prime witness is Prashant Francis, owner of the house where the CCTV camera that recorded the crime was installed. Prashant was the first person who was approached by the victim, a native of Mizoram, and her friend.
On the night of December 31 night, when the victim was returning home with her friend in an auto, she was followed by the accused, who not only molested her but pushed her down when she tried to resist their attempts.
