At least 30 women lodged complaints with Kamakshipalya police on Saturday accusing K T Gurumurthy of Srushti Global Medicare and Research Foundation cheating them by promising surrogate babies.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Labhu Ram, said those cheated by the organisation can lodge their complaints with the city police. All complaints will be clubbed into a cheating case and a probe has been launched. When quizzed, he said, they had registered the case in the evening and if need be, they would arrest Gurumurthy in due course.
